The VB-KIT is perfect for converting a coax video signal to a universal twisted pair (UTP) signal. You can utilize Category 3 or Category 5 twisted pair wire and transmit video signals up to 1500'.

Each VB-KIT includes a transmitter and a receiver with BNC connectors built right in. One unit attaches to the video output of the camera and the other connects to the video input on the DVR or video recorder. Cat 5 cable or any twisted two pair copper cable is attached between the two units. The VB-KIT video baluns are completely passive and do not require a power source.

UTP Video Baluns are the perfect solution for extending video runs to distances beyond 800’ or to connect cameras in different buildings using existing copper cabling. You might also want to consider the VB-KIT UTP video transmitters as an alternative to expensive video coaxial cabling.
